Hospitals

Hospital services in the Wirral area are provided by Wirral Hospital NHS Trust. It has facilities at four sites:

• Arrowe Park Hospital – a complete range of acute services for adults and children
• Clatterbridge Hospital – primarily elective surgery and rehabilitation
• St Catherine’s Hospital and Victoria Central Hospital provide x-ray services

Wirral is also home to the Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, one of the largest cancer treatment and research centres in the country.
